NMU EduCat™ is NMU's course management system (CMS). It is used to deliver online and hybrid courses, as well as to provide online materials for classroom-based courses. EduCat is powered by the Moodle open source CMS. NMU is in the process of transitioning from the WebCT CMS to EduCat. For details about the transition, refer to the NMU EduCat™ News blog.

Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within NMU EduCat. Students are locked into the assessment and are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications.
